In 2023, my piece "Andean condor" was selected as a finalist in the WILDLIFE ARTIST OF THE YEAR competition. Organised by the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation since 2008, the international art contest attracted over 1,430 entries in 2023, with 157 being shortlisted for the final selection of prizewinners and the exhibition at the iconic Mall Galleries in London. More than £32,000 were raised for conservation efforts before the doors to the exhibition had opened, with additional 50% of the proceeds from all artwork sales having gone towards DSWF.
